Meta, formerly known as Facebook, Inc., is looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join their Internal Audit team. The selected candidate will lead assurance audits across Meta’s Product, Integrity, Global Operations, and Policy organizations. Internal Audit Manager – Products and Integrity Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment: Execute quarterly vertical risk assessment with limited oversight and participate in annual enterprise risk assessment.
- Audit Plan Development: Assist in developing and executing a dynamic audit plan to address high-risk areas within Product, Integrity, Policy, and Global Operations.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and own stakeholder relationships, including manager-level relationships. Conduct touchpoints, exchange information, and engage in risk-based discussions to cultivate trust.
- Controls Evaluation: Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls for key processes.
- Project Management: Develop project plans, lead project scoping, fieldwork, and reporting with limited oversight. Draft audit reports, observations, and other deliverables aligning with reporting guidance.
- Remediation and Validation: Align with the business to develop remediation plans and due dates. Perform post-remediation validation testing.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage stakeholder relationships, oversee audit engagements with co-sourcing partners, provide direction, and ensure the accomplishment of audits and projects.
- Industry Expertise: Build subject matter expertise in industry areas and stay up-to-date on new regulatory and industry developments.
- Thought Leadership: Promote thought leadership for new ideas and ways of executing projects, infrastructure enhancements, and drive continuous improvements in the delivery of internal audit services.
- Automation and Innovation: Promote automation in completion of audit testing. Innovate new ways of executing projects to drive continuous improvements in the delivery of internal audits.
- Travel: 10-15% domestic/international travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: BA/BS degree in Policy, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Skills: Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in end-to-end project management, risk assessment, systems evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration. Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects/initiatives. Problem-solving skills that demonstrate critical thinking and an “outside-the-box” approach to reach a solution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in Big 4, Management Consulting, Trust & Safety, Risk Management, Business/Data Analyst, and/or Internal Audit.
- Certifications: MBA, CIA, and/or CISA.
- Audit Experience: Audit experience in Platform Policy, Integrity, Trust & Safety, or Product.
- Expertise: Experience in data analytics, content regulations, or regulatory compliance.
- Technology Familiarity: Familiarity with machine learning/AI models.

Compensation:
